Ive owned the washer for about a week now. Switched over from a top loading washer to this front loader. Here are a few items that Id like to provide feedback on: * Its very easy to accidentally touch the power button when the wash cycle has started if one is around the washer doing other things. * Wish there was a way to keep the LED light on for the entire wash cycle. * You have to be creative when washing pillows because the load becomes uneven. You will need to add other items in the washer to even up the load. * The light gray letters on the four dispensers are very difficult to see. Wish the letters were black or a darker color to easily see the detergent bleachetc markings.

Constant problems for me

Nothing but problems with this washer. First issue was it kept shutting itself off due to a faulty safety feature built into the panel. Second was water leaks everywhere due to some other manufacturing defect. Good thing my LG and Best Buy warranty covered these documented issues. Due to backlog of Service Techs in my area Im without my washer each time for an average of 2-3 weeks waiting for parts and having to deal with going to Laundromats was a hassle.

I ended up with a piece of junk

LG supposedly stands by their products but I ended up with a piece of junk Washer drain pump continuously goes out and I havent even owned it for 5 years. Problems started at year 1 and they keep fixing it but this time the extended warranty Asurion doesnt want to step up and get with LG to have my washer replaced so the star has to be one because even though I like this washer I ended up with a very expensive piece of junk. I clearly understand its no longer under manufacture warranty but thats the reason I bought the extended warranty - just in case. This washer is obviously a defected unit and the last time their employee came out to fix it. He told me it only qualifies as a lemon if the same part breaks three times in one month. According to LG corporate - Its a 3rd call in for the same broken part - under warranty - is when they consider it a lemon so though the repair guy is really nice he should have done something to report this fact to Asurion so I would qualify for a replacement. Now after involving the Home Depot Store I bought it from I may get a check for a buyout but with that I wont be able to buy a replacement as it much more expensive now. How is that fair??? You want me to give your washer another chance then help me get a replacement. I have shoes a gingerbread house and clothes among a lot of other items that have lasted me longer than this washer

Weve had it for just over a year. Its a great machine but on month 13 the drain pump broke. It was not under warranty anymore but LG did a one time courtesy of extending the warranty. Overall if the thing had not broken in the first place it would be 5 stars.

All time worst washing machine - avoid

Complete and utter garbage. The worst washing machine we have ever purchased. This machine looks great but fails at the one job of actually getting clothes clean. I am stunned there are so many positive reviews. The main issue is that the machine uses hardly any water when washing which you can observe thanks to the handy drum light. Clothes come out almost as stained as they go in but also stinking of whatever liquid or powder you are using as the rinse function also barely uses any water. This is the same regardless of load size. For a supposedly top of the range appliance this is absolutely shocking. Well be returning this to Costco where we purchased it from.

Very disappointed. This washer takes forever to spin sometimes. Does not handle dog beds very well. I cannot just wash on speed cycle it will not spin. It wants me to only wash on a 2 hour heavy duty cycle. Same with anything I want to wash quickly. These cycles are way too long. My clothes do not need to be washed for 2 hours. Also the WiFi never worked and the washer is not far from my router.

This machine is huge It can easily fit a king-sized comforter and more. The amount of towels it can do at the same time is unreal. I can fit just about every piece of clothing I own into a single load. Weve had it for about two years now without issue. Does a fantastic job and again the capacity is amasing.

Great cleaning with capacity to do comforter.

Did not expect visibly better job at cleaning but stunned at how much better towels looked. Capacity handles thick comforters easily. WiFi notifications nice but an unnecessary frill. Doubt that it raise prices these days. These are big machines so be sure you have space but you cant get giant capacity in smaller machine. Fit comfortably in our laundry room. Controls pretty easy to understand. Optional setting up Wifi to phone app pretty straight forward if you do that sort of things. For those technically challenged really not necessary. Nice looking machines beautifully styled but who really cares its a washer/dryer in the laundry room not a sofa in the living room. Set up/install straight forward pretty easy to do yourself if inclined in that direction. Do suggest you get delivery to leave unpacked machines in laundry room. These are big and heavy machines takes some real muscle to carry them in from outside even if only going over entry threshold never mind stairs. Minimum of two strong men required. Shoving them into place and leveling if necessary after install of hoses and power can be done by one moderately capable individual.

I bought this to replace another LG set I bought in 2008. That was still working great. I had to replace the drain pump and motor on it in 2020 but thats not bad for its age. The capacity style and app are amazing. I can fit my king comforter in there and still have room

Washing Machine Ruined By Delivery Company

There is no better washing machine on the market. We absolutely love this Model. The disappointing part was the horrendous delivery company that messed up what should have been a joyous occasion. See my Dryer review for specifics. LG Concierge Service to the rescue. They did what they said they would when they said they would do it and deserve all the praise we can heap on them. I cant express how grateful we are to them.

LG Washing Machine is quiet and fast

We have had this washer for 6 months and it is quiet and fast. Some cycles we are still learning as the wash time was close to 2 hours. Cleans very easy - we dry everything off after every final use.

Ive been eyeing these for about a year and a half and finally pulled the trigger and Im so glad I did Ive had them for about 2 mos now with the washer pedestal. The washer capacity is outstanding for bedding large loads of clothes and gets clothes clean. Love that I can wash smaller loads in the washer pedestal super cool concept. Washing is such a joy again Overall A+++ no complaints

Its the best washing machine in the world. Will there be an updated version of this model? Automatic detergent dispensing? Improved drain pump performance to get all water out before pre spin balance? Soak option? Extended slow wash? Updated wash basin geometry? Make it at least 6 cb ft? Stackable? Extra water option? Turbo wash run longer instead of short burst and more spray jets? Heavier duty capacity? Pump replacement access panel instead of having to reach in from the back or disassemble?

Havent really had a chance to use it many times yet but so far Im impressed. Clothes come out very dry after the spin cycle requiring less drying time. The On/Off switch is in an unfortunate location. Every time you lean up against the washer it turns on or off. Its annoying.

I havent had this Washing Machine long enough to really evaluate it but it looks great is big and has a very good assortment of options and settings. We usually have big loads and use Tide Pods but every load comes out clean the machine is very quiet and stable. I recommend it so far.

Extremely poor quality waste of money

Weve had to replace the drain pump twice now yes with LG authentic parts and it still leaks. the drum also has bad bearings and our repairman told us its just not worth it to repair anymore and not to ever buy LG again because LG appliances are his highest revenue source.

Have used for about 3 months now. Compared to my on LG washer this one cycles way too many times always adding more water stopping and reversing and does not get the laundry as clean. My biggest problem is that when the spin cycle starts the drum moves back and forth causing the door to knock about the first few seconds and then everything is OK. Yes I have leveled and re-leveled. Also the washer is very loud One other thing I noticed is that when I open the door after a few day of none use the washer is warm on the inside. I always keep the door open for a few hours or over night after each use so I dont under what it would be warm on the inside. I love the large load capacity but very noisy with all the stops/starts and water drains/refill. I do have a rather small laundry room so a much larger room might make a difference in noise levels

They had to take off the door to bring it inside our laundry room. Its that big so do your measurements before ordering but we can confirm a CA King comforter easily fit inside this washing machine and came out nice and clean :.

The LG signature series washer and dryer hold a lot of clothes. They are very easy to use and the wash machine has a super fast cycle which is my favorite. The dryer has a steam cycle for de-wrinkling clothes but I havent used it yet so I cant comment as of yet.

LG Signature Washer Cleans Great Does it Fast

Our LG Signature Washer does a great job cleaning loads small to very large does it very fast. Weve washed king-size comforters quilts w/ no problems. It handles everyday clothing loads fast easy as well. Highly suggest getting the pedestal to make it easy to reach back into the machine for things like socks such at 5.8 cu ft capacity it is deep. All-around great machine that washes whatever we have perfectly.
